As the coronavirus (COVID-19) begins to have an increased impact in our community, The B.E.E. Academy is taking preventative measures in addition to maintaining our high standard of cleanliness to ensure the well-being of all our Scholars. |
We’ve already taken the following precautions to help stop the spread of the virus by: -Cleaning and disinfecting all areas of our locations on a daily basis -Disinfecting surfaces like computers, games, props, doorknobs, tables and other shared spaces. -Ensuring extra supplies of hand soap and sanitizer are readily available -Informing kids of washing hands and using hand sanitizer during their time at our location -Placed signage reminding everyone to frequently and thoroughly wash their hands -Reminding our kids to avoid high-fives – elbow bumps are a great way to show support! -Monitoring our team’s health and asking them to stay home if they feel unwell |
Individual Precautions and Preventive Efforts We would also like to take this opportunity to remind you of recommendations provided by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) to help safeguard your own health: -If you are feeling ill, please stay home. -Wash your hands thoroughly and frequently – make sure to clean all fingers, the areas between your fingers, the area between your thumb and forefinger, and your wrists. -Use soap and water and wash for at least 20 seconds.Avoid touching your eyes, mouth and nose, particularly with unwashed hands. -Cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue, then dispose of the tissue in the trash and wash your hands. -If you must, cough or sneeze into the crook of your bent arm (at the elbow). -Clean surfaces such as desks, phones, remote controls and computer keyboards with alcohol-based wipes. cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/about/prevention-treatment.html |
