Achievers Need Time (after) School and our highly qualified staff which includes experienced Educators and Certified Academic Coaches offer extended academic support during the hours that students need it most; After-school. In addition to homework support, we offer integrated instruction in several subject areas in the form of “Learning Labs” for students grades K-8. Learning Labs allow students to receive additional academic instruction in grade specific subjects. These labs are taught by our Academic Coaches and are aligned with state curricula to ensure relevance, readiness and retention.

While academics are foremost at The B.E.E. Academy, we seek to address the needs of the “whole child”. Our goal is to engage students through fun, thought-provoking activities that encourage participation and enjoyment in learning. To this end, we offer outstanding opportunities for enrichment and exposure through our Enrichment Labs. Our Labs include (but are not limited to): Creative Arts (Dance, Drama, Music, & Artistic expression), Chess, Martial Arts, & B.E.E. Fit, (our world class health and wellness programs), and Scholar Skills© (Study techniques, Character Education & Life Skills Development).

Bringing Up Grades (B.U.G.) Academic Coaching is a comprehensive learner centered academic support program for students in grades K-8.

Your child will receive 1-on-1 instruction based on their individually diagnosed needs, established goals and prescribed session objectives in a small group setting. Colony Coaches use proven techniques to help your child achieve and exceed established academic benchmarks and gain long-term scholastic Success.Parents are provided regular progress reports to chart students’ growth.

The Method

First, Academic Coaches administer a formal diagnostic assessment to help determine your child’s individual strengths, struggles and needs. Next, your child’s Academic team meets to determine appropriate program package and goals. Lastly, a G.A.M.E. Plan; an Individualized Achievement Plan, is created to outline goals, academic strategies and action steps for your child’s success. This complete academic support system combined with regular progress reporting will help your child succeed like a B.E.E.!

T.I.C. – Test Improvement Clinic

T.I.C. Test Preparation program offers a great alternative to high-priced, highly stressful test preparation programs. Our support program is aligned to state, national and testing standards to ensure your child’s testing success, not stress.

Our colony coaches are trained to ensure a stress free, fun, learner-centered environment. Our Program includes: test taking skills development in math, reading, writing and critical thinking skill essential for test success . Test Prep is offered in small group setting for SAT, SSAT and other  standardized tests.

Our Widespread Academic Support Programs offer a highly individualized, accelerated curriculum for your child to fill academic gaps in our  Bee Basics Boot Camps, satisfy testing requirements in our T.I.C. Boost camps, or crank it up a notch in our Bee Better Boost camps. We guarantee a good dose of quality instruction in a fast paced environment that will hit the mark every time.
